Helping hard-working individuals and families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter and the belief that everyone should have access to the benefits of homeownership. HFH partners with families to build simple, decent and affordable housing. The low cost of the homes is made possible by the volunteer support of people in the community, following the lead
of construction professionals, and working in tandem with the new owner family. Thanks to the generosity of volunteers, HFH is able to sell their homes, at no profit, to qualified families with a 0% interest mortgage loan.
Current Need(s):
Volunteer: Depending on the scope of work, 6-12 volunteers are needed on a daily basis, Tuesday thru Saturday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. No construction experience is necessary. Safety equipment, tools, and supplies are provided. Minimum age requirement is 16 years old. Minors between the ages of 16-17 years old must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
