Description: Childcare workers are responsible for supervising, playing with, and assuring the safety of the young children during church sponsored trainings, events and activities.

Description: Childcare workers are responsible for supervising, playing with, and assuring the safety of the young children during church sponsored trainings, events and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide age-appropriate care including feeding snacks, changing diapers, escorting children to the bathroom, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Respond to the physical and emotional needs of the young children.
- Supervise and cheerfully interact with children through games, stories, and playtime.
- Greet each parent when returning for their children; brief them on their child’s experience and check them out accordingly.
- Communicate with parents appropriately if their children’s behavior needs to be addressed.
- When an injury occurs, fill out an incident report immediately following the incident.
- Fulfill any additional duties delineated by the Childcare Coordinator (CC) and perform other duties as assigned.
- Clean the room being used for childcare before and/or after use as directed by CC.
- Adhere to the Anthem Community Church Child Protection guidelines.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous childcare experience in a group setting preferred.
- A warm, caring patient approach to caring for young children.
- Strong interpersonal skills to converse with children, fellow caregivers and parent or guardians.
- Completed background check required for all applicants over 18 years.

- Provide vision and leadership for the ACC Student Ministry program that aligns with the overall vision for ACC.
- Create and maintain a safe environment that promotes student’s abilities to Live the Truth of Jesus in Everyday Life by Knowing God, Making Friends, and Adding Value.
- Recruit, develop, and oversee a team that personally knows each student, provides support, and helps them identify and take next steps for growth
- Maintain a flexible schedule that allows for visits with students in a variety of ways (i.e., attendance at extracurricular activities, times of crisis, etc.).
- Organize, recruit, schedule, train, and oversee volunteers (teachers, helpers) for all aspects of the Student Ministry.
- Select and oversee the use of Biblical curriculum/teachings and activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to market ACC’s Student Ministries Program within area neighborhoods and schools.
- Collaborate with church leaders in planning, developing, and implementing all aspects of a balanced and engaging student ministry.
- Consistently exhibit each of ACC’s core values.
- Work with the Family Life Pastor to integrate ACC’s Student Ministry program into the overall Family Life Ministry vision.
- Serve as an advocate for students. On a regular basis, educate and enlighten the congregation about the vision, needs, and concerns of the students of ACC and the community.
- Pursue and participate in continuing education events and training opportunities within student ministry practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation such as attendance numbers, waivers, and more.
- Work with the Executive Director and Family Life Pastor to establish and manage a budget.
- Organize regular outreach-oriented events for students in the community to be introduced to the church and the gospel, and to take steps toward knowing and following Jesus.
- Communicate with church leadership, staff, parents, and congregation in a timely manner utilizing available resources (weekly leadership meetings, email, website, etc.)
- Collaborate with church staff members in a cohesive and open team environment.
- Share the Gospel with students, parents, and the community.
- Mentor teens and provide counseling and spiritual direction that aligns with ACC’s ministry strategy.
- Be a resource for parents as they seek to teach their children to follow Jesus.
- Preach and teach biblically sound lessons and Bible studies.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be a believer of Jesus Christ and become a member of Anthem Community Church.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant organizational leadership experience.
- Strong balance of people and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience and passion for evangelism and for building relationships with students.
- Experience leading a goal-oriented team in a mutually edifying and supportive manner.
- Must demonstrate an acceptable balance of confidence and humility, and must be willing to proactively address issues in accordance with scripture and in alignment with the vision and mission of ACC.

- Master of Divinity degree
